Am I a Laborer for Christ Jesus?

Hey church!!

If we call Jesus Lord and profess we are His followers, there should always be a question to ask ourselves.

“Am I a laborer for Christ Jesus?”

Jesus said these words in Matthew 9 after seeing crowds of people in need of healing and salvation. His heart was moved with compassion and he told his disciples that the need in this world is great, the harvest is ready, but the laborers are few.

There is a SENT generation rising. Not content with just splashing in the rivers of His presence in the four walls of a service, but WILLING to break out of comfort and fear and begin to boldly & intentionally reach the lost.

God’s heart should resonate with everyone of His children. God’s heart is He wants ALL to be saved.

This should encourage us! This means we all have PURPOSE. In God’s kingdom, there is a place available for you to labor:

  • Every day you can pray for those that don’t know Jesus in your world.
  • You can share Jesus Christ with your friends at work,  school and invite them to church.
  • You can serve on one of the many incredible teams and position yourself to be a part of bringing in the harvest.
  • You can lead a life group at your home and invite your family, friends and neighbors that don’t know Jesus.
  • And much more!

You have a harvest waiting for you to reap for God’s kingdom. You have talents and gifts that were specially given to you. You are a part of an intricate body and have a function that only you can complete.

Let’s remember, the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. God is calling you to work in the harvest field. There is a ripe harvest awaiting.

Let’s get to work!
